In 2011, after 20 years of serving the public and community in Emergency Medical Services, it was time to retire my stethoscope and pursue new endeavors. Helping people has always been at the core of everything I have focused my life on, so it was important that my next career path had to focus on continuing to help others.
After much soul searching, I came to realize that the home and what it represents: love, family, security, memories, togetherness, joy and happiness, occupied a special place in my heart. This realization helped guide me in my decision to pursue a career in real estate, and help others achieve their dream of ‘Home’. So, in 2012, I earned my real estate license and became a Realtor®.
Honor, integrity, caring, and satisfaction are important qualities to me; and are central guiding forces for me as I navigate through the murky waters that is the real estate industry. In a field full of unscrupulous and inadequate agents, I strive to be a beacon of honesty and knowledge; and deliver more value to you than you expect to receive.
I’m currently a firefighter with the Lake City fire department. I’m a father and family man. My children are often around, included and I highly encourage you to do the same. I base my business in Minnesota. If you’re moving out of state, I’m happy to pre-screen agents and find a referral for you.

Justin’s Designations and Certifications Explained
I have committed myself to the study of law and ethics in the field of Real Estate, as well as pricing, market dynamics and marketing. In the process, I have earned the following Designations and Certifications:
Graduate Realtor® Institute (GRI) Designation – Approximately only 15% of all Realtors have earned this prestigious Designation, and it is only awarded to those that have followed a rigorous educational tract focused on an in-depth knowledge of technical subjects relating to real estate, as well as the fundamentals of real estate.
Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR) Designation – Approximately only 11% of all Realtors hold this designation. An agent who has earned the ABR Designation is a specialized practitioner who has demonstrated a commitment to working with buyers, and has completed specialized training focused on delivering the best in buyer-representation services.
Residential Listing Specialist Certification (RLSC) – A specialized certification to give Realtors the tools they need to master the art of listing residential properties by providing agents with strategies, tools and more, to help agents enhance and differentiate their listings.
Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA) Certification – This certification is specifically designed to help Realtors enhance their skills in pricing properties, creating Comparable Market Analysis (CMA), working with appraisers and guiding clients through the anxieties and misperceptions they often have about home values.
At Home with Diversity (AHWD) Certification – This certification is just one part of a comprehensive cultural diversity outreach program designed and administered by the National Association of Realtors (NAR). This certification focuses on cultural and racial sensitivity, US Fair Housing Laws and developing professional guidelines for working with a diverse population of people in an increasingly changing multicultural real estate market.
e-Pro Certification – This certification program helps Realtors master the advanced digital marketing techniques used today, as well as provides education on the laws and best practices regarding the safe sharing and storage of sensitive client information in today’s digital world.
Commitment to Excellence (C2EX) Endorsement – This ongoing endorsement is awarded every 2 years to Realtors committed to the highest levels of professionalism through ongoing education and proficiency in 11 categories, ranging from customer service to technology. As new content and industry updates are developed, Realtors who have earned their C2EX Endorsement, receive a notification inviting them back to engage and keep their skills and knowledge up to date.
